Father Ademir Santos de Oliveira was born on May 21, 1969, in Santo André, São Paulo. He is the son of Antonio de Oliveira and Maria Teresinha dos Santos Oliveira, both born in Sergipe. He completed his first degree in 1985 at EEPSG “Pe. Giuseppe Pisoni” – Vila Lopes and the 4th year of teaching in 1989 at EEPSG “Cassiano Ricardo” – Vila Figueiredo, both in Rio Grande da Serra.
He entered the Major Seminary of the Diocese of Santo André in 1990, for philosophical studies, being its trainer during this period, the current Bishop, Dom Airton José dos Santos.
He graduated with a Full Degree in Philosophy on December 16, 1992 from Faculdades Associadas Ipiranga, in the neighborhood of Ipiranga, São Paulo, when he asked for leave from the Seminary in December 1992, returning to his father's house. From 1993-1994, he taught Brazilian and General History subjects in the Public Network; Sociology and Philosophy, at the “Pe. Giuseppe Pisoni", in Rio Grande da Serra, the same place where he studied primary school.
In 1995, he took a University Extension Course at PUC – São Paulo in the History department – “Ontology, Work and History in the Work of Karl Marx”. He was readmitted to the Major Seminary of the Diocese of Santo André in February 1995 for Theology Studies, being his trainer, the then bishop Dom Manuel Parrado Carral.
In December 1998 he graduated in Theology from the Pontifical Faculty of Theology Nossa Senhora da Assunção, in Ipiranga, SP. On September 14, 1997, at the Nossa Senhora do Carmo Cathedral, in Santo André, he received the Ministries of Reader and Acolyte from the hands of His Excellency Revma. Dom Décio Pereira, Diocesan Bishop of Santo André.
He was ordained Deacon on June 7, 1998, at the Church of Santa Teresinha. On December 6, 1998, at the Santo Antônio de Vila Alpina Church, in Santo André, he received Presbyteral ordination at the hands of Dom Décio Pereira.
He celebrated his First Mass in the Santa Luzia Chapel, Santana Parish, in Ribeirão Pires, on December 13, 1998. On February 6, 1999, he was appointed Parish Vicar of the Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe Parish, Grande Alvarenga region, in São Bernardo do Campo, SP.
On February 7, 2000, he took office as Parish Priest in the same parish. On August 17, 2004, he was appointed Rector of the House of Philosophical Training; On August 26, 2004, he was appointed Diocesan Coordinator of Vocation Ministry; and on September 30, 2004, he took office as Rector of the House of Philosophy in Diadema.
He performed the following services in the diocese: member of the ABC Liturgical team (2000-2003); member of the Diocesan Liturgy Team (2000-2004); member of the Diocesan Seminary Training Team; Professor at the Propedeutics and Institute of Theology of the Diocese of Santo André (2000-2003); Trainer at the Propedeutics Training House (2003-2004); Regional Vicar in the Anchieta Pastoral Region in SBC (2001-2002 and 2004), and today he is Vicar General of the Diocese of Santo André and president of the Associação Lar Menino Jesus, since 2019 he is also moderator of the Diocesan Curia.
